Founding & Sustaining Members

Founding & Sustaining Members

The Lomita Chamber of Commerce exists because of the businesses and organizations that stepped forward to support its launch and long-term sustainability.

Founding Members

Founding Members are the early supporters who helped establish the Lomita Chamber of Commerce by providing critical seed funding and/or invaluable in-kind services during the Chamber’s formative stages. Their commitment laid the foundation for the organization’s growth and impact within the community.

Founding support included South Bay Credit Union and Coastal Funeral Center, along with additional early partners such as California Water Service, Workman+Kemp Real Estate, Southern California Gas Company, The Picerne Group, the City of Lomita, Torrance Refining Company, Localista Media, and Social Workplace, which also contributed donated office space and marketing and web hosting services.

Without the trust and support of these early partners, the Lomita Chamber of Commerce would not be here today.

Sustaining Members

Sustaining Members are businesses and organizations that make a significant annual investment in the Chamber by supporting operational expenses and/or sponsoring Chamber programs and events at a level of $2,750 or more.

In addition to recognition through Chamber communications and events, Sustaining Members may choose to apply for consideration to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, though board service is not required. Their ongoing support plays a vital role in advancing the Chamber’s mission and ensuring the sustainability of its programs.

Businesses interested in becoming a Sustaining Member are encouraged to contact the Chamber to learn more.

We encourage our business and community partners to support these companies and organizations whenever possible.

Thanks to the following Founding Members for their membership, support and participation in the Lomita Chamber of Commerce.
