City of Lomita Founder’s Day Returns to Downtown Lomita!

That’s right! 

A fun-filled weekend of live music, thrilling rides, entertaining games, crafts and vendors, delicious dessert trucks, and endless family fun. 

Visit our vendors on the front lawn of City Hall and explore local businesses on Narbonne Avenue as you enjoy the festivities with friends and neighbors.

Event Hours:
Saturday, June 24th
10am to 9pm (fireworks show at 9pm)
(vendor booths open til 6pm)

Sunday, June 25th
10am to 6pm
(vendor booths open til 4pm)

Please note that Narbonne Ave will be closed between Lomita Blvd. North to 242nd Street. Lomita Park will also be closed on Saturday, June 25th. Street closures will begin at 12pm on Friday to through traffic on Narbonne Ave and impacting the turning lanes on Lomita Blvd. and Narbonne. Ave south of Lomita Blvd.

ABOUT THIS EVENT
The City of Lomita is excited to once again return Founders Day to its Downtown home with rides, games, live music, food and fun for the whole family. Join us this year as the City of Lomita celebrates 59 years of community tradition. Narbonne Ave will be closed between Lomita Blvd. North to 242nd Street for this event. Founders Day has attracted as many as 2,000 visitors to the event over the weekend. This event attracts families and adults alike from the South Bay and surrounding areas.
