Founders Day Vendor Booth Information
The Lomita Chamber of Commerce is happy to be working with the City of Lomita to help bring together vendors and businesses to showcase at this community event.
Event Hours:
Saturday, June 24th 2023: 10am to 9pm
Sunday, June 25th 2023: 10am to 6pm
Fireworks show to begin Saturday at 9pm
ABOUT THIS EVENT
The City of Lomita is excited to once again return Founders Day to its Downtown home with rides, games, live music, food and fun for the whole family. Join us this year as the City of Lomita celebrates 59 years of community tradition. Narbonne Ave will be closed between Lomita Blvd. North to 242nd Street for this event. Founders Day has attracted as many as 2,000 visitors to the event over the weekend. This event attracts families and adults alike from the South Bay and surrounding areas.
Changes for vendors this year:
Vendors have the opportunity to participate both days.Â
One six-foot table and two chairs are included in booth fees.Â
Booths will be located entirely on the front lawn of City Hall (vendor booths will not be placed on Narbonne Ave).
HOW TO APPLY FOR A BOOTH
All vendors are required to submit an application for approval prior to reserving space or setting up at the Event. Art/Makers/Retail Vendors should submit at least 2 photos of your work/items you plan to display at your booth. Approved applicants will be advised within 5 business days of submitting application. Booth reservations and payment must be made in advance to confirm a space at the Event. If your application is approved, you will then receive a link to pay for your booth reservation from the Chamber.
All reservations/booth fees must be received by June 16, 2023.
Please note: The Chamber is not handling food vendors at this event.Â

ELIGIBILITY
Founders Day is open to artists, makers and retailers. Informational booths are acceptable. Our goal is to present vendors that represent variety, quality presentation and originality. The submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the event.Â
CONFIRMATION
Acceptance or non-acceptance into the event will be sent via email within 5 business days of submitting an application to the event. Event details will be included with notice of acceptance into the event.

- 10’x 10′ space for your booth
- One 6 foot table and 2 chairs
- SecurityÂ
- Trash services
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
- EZ-up/Canopy for your booth space (10ft x 10ft canopies only)
- Weights for tents (For everyone’s safety, weights for tents and the means to secure any table-top items are REQUIRED as winds pick up up quickly outdoors.)
- Additional tables/chairs if needed (must fit within your booth space)
- Signage, Supplies and decor to enhance the experience
- Flyers/coupons/promotional items for guests to take away
- Your amazing products and information
BOOTH FEES
$75 Lomita Chamber Members
$150 Not-yet Chamber Members (Join the Chamber for reduced fees)
Includes: Both days; 10ft x 10ft booth space; 1 six (6) foot table and 2 chairs
VENDOR HOURS
Saturday: 10am to 6pm (Vendors are welcome to stay until 9pm)
Sunday: 10am to 4pm (Vendors are welcome to stay until 6pm)
No late setup or early tear down during the Vendor hours.
All fees must be paid by the deadline of June 16, 2023. Absolutely no refunds after June 16, 2023. Cancellation requests must be submitted to hi@lomitachamber.org.
